A Mascule® beaded bracelet is a unique piece of Jewelry made from Natural Materials. Our products are the striking result of Craftsmanship and Careful selection. It is therefore essential to know how you and the world around you can enjoy your beaded bracelet for as long as possible.
For that reason, we have listed a number of important points for you to ensure that your Mascule® remains in absolute top condition.
Putting on and taking off your Mascule®
Our bracelets are strung on an industrial grade silicone. This material is extremely strong, but even the strongest material can break. It is always best to put a beaded bracelet on and off by “rolling” it over your hand around the wrist. Let the beads do the work. Never pull the bracelet off your wrist. On the long run, this could eventually damage the silicone, leading to breakage in the worst case.
Storing your Mascule®
In the long term, direct sunlight can have an adverse effect on the appearance of the natural stone beads that we use to make our bracelets. In addition, long-term exposure to UV light is harmful to the silicone on which our bracelets are strung.
Keep your bracelet in top condition by keeping it in a clean, dry and dark environment when you are not wearing it.
Our men’s bracelets come in a sturdy gift box which is provided with a velvety soft cushion. In addition, each package is provided with an extra velvet cover.
The Mascule® gift box is very suitable for storing your bracelet when you are not wearing it.
Wear it Smart
Our beaded bracelets are natural products, and although the types of stone used give the impression of being indestructible, it is important to realize that damage can indeed occur. These will always be minimal and at first sight invisible. In the long run however, many damages will become visible in the form of corrosion.
Therefore, don’t wear your Mascule® if, for example, you are working in the garden or if you are going to work on your car for an afternoon. In addition, be careful with chemicals from, for example, cleaning products. These can have a disastrous effect on natural stone and the (stainless) steel present. (in particular descaling agents)
For the same reason, we also advise against wearing your bracelet in a (chlorine) swimming pool or in the shower. After showering or bathing, put on your bracelet until you have applied all hair sprays, creams, and aftershaves to make sure your bracelet is not damaged.
Cleaning your Mascule®
Our bracelets do not require much maintenance, nature has taken care of that. Nevertheless, it is wise and desirable to periodically subject your bracelet to a critical look. In everyday life, dirt and dust is all around us and after a certain time it may be necessary to clean your bracelet.
To clean your Mascule®, use a soft and slightly damp cloth where you “massage” the beads in this cloth. Never use (chemical) cleaning agents on your bracelet.
Any silver beads present naturally corrode over time, this is part of the nature of the material. If you still want to polish the silver a bit, use a silver polishing cloth that ensures that you hit the natural stone beads as little as possible.
